“We are a vital, growing and diverse community where everyone is welcome and their individual spiritual journeys are honored. We intend to use all our gifts in worship, and to grow in faith, nurture each other in love, reach out to people in need, and celebrate and protect God’s creation. We invite everyone, without exception, to share their unique gifts with us and enjoy the life of our faith community.”

WELCOME!

We invite you to come and celebrate what God is doing in our lives and in our world.  Experience a diverse community where people love being together for worship and spiritual growth, music and the arts, supportive small groups and large social gatherings, service to others and care for the Earth.  Chances are there’s someone like you at Atonement!

We celebrate the joys of life together – and seek to support and care for each other in times of difficulty and loss.   We study the Bible and learn.  We honor each other’s individual spiritual journeys as we bring our beliefs, doubts, joys and sorrows to Christ together.

We believe in God’s inclusive and sustaining love for all people, and for the whole creation.   We celebrate the beauty and wonder of the earth given into our care, and incorporate concern for the environment into our spiritual formation, decision-making and outreach to the community.

Each person - with no distinctions -  is welcomed at Atonement as a unique gift from God.  We hope that you will honor us with your presence so that we can welcome you and share with you the love of Christ that we’ve experienced.

Atonement offers Discovery Nights for seekers, newcomers and current members who want to share how they’ve experienced God in their lives, and discuss Christian faith and life.  They are held on the 2nd Tuesday of most months at 7:30 p.m. and include supper.  All are welcome.

We’re located about two miles off Exit One or Two of the Palisades Parkway, just up from the George Washington Bridge. Although we enjoy the ‘feel’ of a community church, people from 16 towns around Bergen County make Atonement their spiritual home.  We invite you to visit us and find out more.

If there’s any way we can make you more at home, or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know - click on “Contact us”!
