Due to the current health crisis, public worship services at Atonement have been suspended. Worship is offered every weekend either through a “live” Zoom service or pre-recorded worship and music videos. Virtual Church School has also been offered on Sundays at 10 a.m.
Atonement is pleased to announce that we are planning to resume public worship services on October 25th at 10:00 am in the church, every other week through December 31st, at this time. On alternate Sundays, worship will be offered either through a “live” Zoom service or pre-recorded worship and music videos. Click here for a complete schedule of worship services.
Public worship services will conform to the Bishop’s guidelines which are based on the Governor’s executive orders. If you wish to attend a public service, you must contact the church office at 201-568-1763 or by email to email@example.com no later than noon the Friday before the service to make a reservation for you and anyone who will accompany you. Atonement must abide by occupancy guidelines that limit the number of people at the service. Consequently, if you fail to make a reservation, you may not be able to attend. Masks will be required.
For a full description of all required procedures please click here.
Church School will also be offered at public worship and on Zoom on alternate Sundays. Virtual confirmation classes begin on November 11th. We will be discussing attitudes following the curriculum in Living the Good Word published by Church Publishing Incorporated.
